she's got the look

Feeling in danger of blogging about the same thing as many others this week, I'm going to try and mix it up . This will however be a photo-heavy post - it's fashion week - who expects anything else ? However, to diminish too many RSI's from constant down-scrolling I've tried to get a fine balance between photo post and slide show.

On Friday was the LOOK show, which showcased many of my 'predictions' from the below post yet intensified my need for pleats and plum/coral/pink combo's. It was so weird though comforting to meet so many bloggers that I follow at the event, plus the lovely Lara from LOOK and a few people from the Press who I have met at various other events . The show managed to embody all that is high street such as the accessibility, familiarity and fun yet add a high-fashion element with the amazing styling, set up of the runway ( a straight line runway with tiered seating ) and the quality of the models. This for me was very important.

I am going to chop the actual catwalk report up so that I can focus on the details rather than just post photos that you could just find on the LOOK website which would achieve nothing really . The detailing was stunning this season, your eye was drawn to the smaller and finer design points and the quality and composition of the fabrics.
